Quick Update on the Boys

Last week we had Sean's 1 year checkup... He is 21 pounds 8oz. (25%) and 31.5 inches tall (85%) His head is in the 95%tile. He is super healthy and loves to eat! He wears 12 to 18 month clothes and size 3 diapers. We are loving his sense of humor and determined way. He has consistently slept through the night for the past 2 weeks...yippee!


Connor had his 3 year appointment last week as well... He is 40 pounds (90%) and 41.25 inches (92%) He loves to swim and run and is getting better about eating. He wears 5T shirts, size 6 underwear, and 4/4T pants although depending on the brand and style he can wear 3T to 5T bottoms. He is articulate and fun. He can read anything you put in front of him and he is making lots of friends at school.

We are having a lot of fun with our two boys and I think they are enjoying life too!

Happy Home!

As many of you know, we moved about a month ago. Our new house is only about 3 miles from our old one, but it is so much better for us! I love this house and there is a guest room, so come visit!

Visiting Balboa Island

Over Labor Day weekend we visited a dear friend of my mom's on Balboa Island in Newport Beach. Beautiful spot. Connor played on the beach and swam almost the whole time!

Sean loved the water table on the back porch! We sat at there (about 10 feet from the water) and enjoyed the view of the bay.

Happy Birthday, Sean!

So, Sean is 13 months today and I am finally posting his birthday pictures. Chris and I sat up until midnight assembling the little people garage for Sean so he could play with it on the morning of his bday. It was so fun to see him get right into it. He loved it. The following pictures were taken after he recognized the little ramp as a slide-like feature and tried to climb it like the one in the back yard.

First Day of Preschool for Connor

Last Tuesday was Connor's first day of preschool. He was so excited to meet new friends and play! He chose his own clothes and ate a better breakfast than usual. We walked to school together, I managed not to cry when he took my hand as we walked. When the teacher opened the door she took a double take as Connor walked right in without me. (Most kids hovered by a parent). After signing him in and kissing him good bye, I left. He had a great day!
