Jog A Thon!

Connor ran his heart out and did 24 laps during his 30 minutes. He was very excited this morning!

Ryan was the littlest cheerleader for his big brother!! He is taking a nice nap now, after completing all his support duty!

Pre-Christmas Activity!

Sean's First Year as a Shepherd in the Nativity Play! For the past two years, Sean has been a camel, a role reserved for the very young. This year as a 5 year-old he is finally eligible for the role of Shepherd! Here he is trying on his costume for the first time!


Here is a flashback photo of Connor just before his first time being a shepherd. He is also going to be a Shepherd this year. I will post a picture of the two boys in their costumes this year after Christmas.

Last night after his shower, Ryan brought Grampy a book to read him. Here they are enjoying What Makes a Rainbow

First Days...

Sean is on "The Darth Vaders" (can you tell the kids choose the team name)? This is his first season being old enough to play! He is very excited, but wishes he could have weekly soccer practice like his big brother. He will have to wait for that. His age level also has no goalie and they play five 5 minute "quarters."

Connor is on the "Mighty Monsters". This is his second year playing and he is having fun! This photo was taken after the game, so he looks a bit serious, but it is just fatigue.

Here is little Ryan posing for his picture on the first day of his "school." He and I attend a weekly parent/child class near our house. We love it and I also love the nap he takes after his two and a half hour class!

Happy Half Birthday to Connor!

Connor got to go on a HUGE Slip and Slide at our local park as part of his Summer Camp! It happened to be the day he turned seven and a half years old...pretty fun way to spend the afternoon!

Good bye, First Grade, Hello Summer

The last day of school was Hawaiian day, but I didn't get a picture. So here is Connor on the first day of Summer Vacation wearing some of his Hawaiian Day accessories. He is 7 years 4 months in this picture. Time flies!

Track Season

Connor was on the track team this year. He enjoyed it--especially the long jump!

Connor is 7 years old, loves first grade, and lost his third tooth at 5:30 this morning! Here he is enjoying the science museum.

Birthday Boy

Last day of being six...Thanks for the new shirt Grammy and Grampy!

On the morning of his 7th birthday, Connor got to open a couple presents... one was this Star Wars shirt and jeans. He also got to bring cupcakes to school.

We had Tropical Rainbow Sherbet and Gummy worms for dessert--very colorful!

Sean enjoyed his gummy worms, too. We have been covering the table with white paper the last few birthdays, and now it is a tradition. Everyone enjoys coloring on the table before, during and after dinner. Ahh, simple pleasures!

Just Playing Around the House

It has been raining here, so the boys have been cooped up for a few days, as a result...some of the trio blocks creations have begun to closely resemble weapons. At least Connor still has a sweet smile. Sean looks down right menacing.
