Advent Happenings

On Friday Connor had a "Fiesta" in his second grade class. In this picture he is trying to catch up to an unusually fast congo line! The class ate tamales and loved them!

I posed with Sean at his class holiday party, but he was upset with me for interrupting his craft, so he would not smile.

On Thanksgiving weekend we headed to the beach for the day. Ryan ran to the car and climbed in the back seat with his brothers. He thought it was great to sit with them. We had to wrestle him into his carseat after that!

The three boys getting ready to watch the Rudolph Christmas special on Motma's bed.

Ryan loves to climb onto the piano bench and "play songs." He is so much fun!

Ryan's First Santa Visit

Ryan was totally relaxed with Santa. Maybe because he had just awakened and his brothers were right with him. Santa came through this year... Legos and Playmobil!

Christmastime

Sean kept wanting his picture taken near the tree.

Connor dressed for his evening Chorus Concert...he had fun singing schoolmates!

Ryan loves his Jump-a-roo!

Sean playing "road restruction" in the backyard. I think it was about 45 degrees that day!

Play, Play, Play!

The boys have not stopped playing with their Christmas toys! I must confess, all these blog posts are not a coincidence...Santa brought us a new camera!

Sean explores the castle.

Connor and Sean at the Roman Arena...Sean was manipulating the Lion. Connor was Ceasar.

Sean trying to get both sets of rotor blades to spin at once on his rescue helicopter.

The Littlest Camel

Sean was one of three camels who accompanied the Three "Kings" to Bethlehem at Christmas Eve Mass at our parish. It was great because the little camels each had a 4th grade boy walking them to where they needed to be.

Christmastime

Yesterday the boys opened a HUGE box from Grammy and Grampy...there were homemade Christmas cookies along with tons of presents! Here are a few pictures of the boys showing their appreciation for the cookies...

Notice Connor has the cookies in his hand.

These last two are tree decorating shots...
Sean's style of decorating included hanging ornaments, taking them off, running around with them, relocating them (repeat)

Connor carefully picked the ornaments he wanted to hang and was very thoughtful about each one's placement.

Ornament Party

Our friends had an ornament decorating party and the boys got to make some cool decorations.

They both chose to leave their ornaments for their friends' tree, so we don't have any pictures of the final products.

Christmas Break

On the Saturday before Christmas we celebrated with Uncle Steve and Aunt Mitzi. Connor and Sean opened their presents, each in their own unique way.
Connor got an awesome pop up dinosaur book, that he loves. He reads it to his stuffed dino friend, "Topsy" almost every night!

Sean was not so sure what to do with his lovely wrapped box, so he examined it...

Then he sat on it for a while. He was very pleased with the colorful box.

Then, in true Sean form, he climbed onto it and tried to jump on it.

Finally when the present was revealed, both boys got right to building!
