Update...

Today Ryan had a doctor's appointment and he weighs 9 pounds 1.5 ounces, so he has gained 1 pound since he was born. Ryan is going to be another tall boy, he is 23 inches now--an inch more than at birth. He will be 4 weeks old tomorrow, time is flying.
Here is Sean caring for his baby brother. Ryan kept dropping his binky, but Sean helped him get it back.


Ryan is a very sweet little guy.


Connor turned six and a half years old today. He is 49 and 3/4 inches tall now. He wears size 7 or 8 clothes, and weighs about 55 lbs. Connor is having a fun summer swimming, going to day camp, and playing with Sean. He likes to throw frisbees, practice hula hooping, soccer, and making new summer friends. He LOVES his baby brother! Connor is currently reading the Chronicles of Narnia. He is on book 2, Prince Caspian, and he even lets me read him a chapter every once in a while. He is an extremely helpful boy, who enjoys doing chores. Connor makes parenting a delight!

One Tooth Less...

But not quite toothless...
This evening Connor wiggled out his second tooth. I guess we all know where the Tooth Fairy will be tonight! Maybe I will catch a glimpse of her when I am up feeding Ryan.

Cousins

Today Nolan and Ryan "met" one another for the first time since Ryan was born.

Proud BIG Brother

Yesterday Connor held Ryan for the first time. He was very relaxed and unphased by Ryan's crying. He spoke to him in a sweet little voice, saying, "Hi, Ryan. You're okay." It was a very tender moment.
