Ryan is Five Months!
I can't believe Ryan is already 5 months old. He is such a sweet, friendly, easy-going little baby. He makes people's day everywhere we go by flashing his little smile, and is ecstatic when his brothers walk into the room. He babbles, shoves his fist in his mouth, rolls all over the floor, and has just begun to reliably grasp his toys. At his 4 month doctor's visit he weighed 14 pounds 3 oz. and was 27 inches long. Due to his length he wears 6-9 or 6-12 months clothes, but he doesn't fill them out. His hair seems to be coming in strawberry blonde and his eyes are brown. He has been eating rice cereal pretty well for about 3 weeks. He needs me to hold him now, so this update must end.

Nativity Scenes
Today we were putting the Nativity Sets out for Christmas. We have several including playmobil and Little People that are not breakable and very accessible to the children. Sean is very into them, and all other things Christmas this year. (I think he put about half the ornaments on the tree this year)! This evening he was surrounded by Nativity scenes that he had set up all over the floor, and he exclaimed, "I am so extracted by all these Activity Sets!" I guess "Activity Sets" can be extracting when you are 4 years old.

Ryan's Baptism
Ryan's family and friends gathered for his baptism.

The children gather around the newly baptized little Ryan.

My Uncle Larry (my dad's youngest brother) has been to all three boys' baptisms... all the way from Chicago!

Ryan never cried the whole time... not even when Father poured the water on his head. What a little sweetie!

My cousin John (Ryan's Godfather) holds Sean, Motma, Debbie (John's wife), Ryan and I gather at our house.
